Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care consistent with LPN/RN scope of practice
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document per facility policy
• Perform ongoing patient assessments and communicate changes promptly to the care team
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to coordinate safe, effective care plans
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the patient record
• Support infection control, safety protocols, and facility standards at all times
• Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and discharge instructions

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in good standing
• Ability to work the scheduled shifts: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team-focused environment
• Comfortable with clinical documentation and following facility policies

Education

• Education appropriate to licensure: LPN diploma/certificate or RN degree (ADN/BSN) as required for licensure

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of medication administration and basic clinical procedures
• Patient assessment and monitoring skills
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) documentation
• Good clinical judgment and the ability to prioritize patient needs
• Clear interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and staff
