Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Perform routine tasks such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility assistance
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
• Support safe transfers and use of assistive devices following facility policies
• Maintain clear, timely documentation of care and resident interactions
• Communicate respectfully with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and facility procedures at all times

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (active or eligible in Pennsylvania)
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Comfortable working the night shift (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Reliable, compassionate, and team-oriented with strong communication skills
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required health screenings

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient care fundamentals and safe body mechanics
• Ability to take and document vital signs accurately
• Basic infection control and hand hygiene practices
• Familiarity with charting and caregiver documentation
• Observation skills to notice and report changes in resident condition
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork in a fast-paced setting
