Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to assigned patients with skill and dignity
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Perform timely patient assessments and monitor vital signs, reporting changes promptly
- Document patient care clearly and thoroughly in the clinical record
- Collaborate with nurses, providers, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
- Support patient education and discharge planning to promote positive outcomes
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential in good standing
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with a patient-centered attitude
- Able to pass required background and health screenings per facility policy
Education
- Diploma or certificate from an accredited practical nursing (LPN) program
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid knowledge of basic nursing principles and standards of care
- Competence in medication administration and basic clinical procedures
- Proficient in patient assessment and monitoring of vital signs
- Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate clinical documentation
- Infection control best practices and safe patient handling techniques
