Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate direct patient care and support daily living activities
• Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility, and toileting while preserving dignity
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
• Perform routine vital sign checks and document findings accurately
• Support a clean, safe environment by following infection control and safety protocols
• Collaborate with team members to deliver person-centered care and positive patient experiences

Qualifications

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or obtained upon hire
• Ability to pass background check and meet facility immunization requirements
• Comfort working night shift and thriving in a fast-paced care environment
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of ADLs (activities of daily living) and safe patient handling
• Basic clinical skills: taking vitals, specimen handling, and charting
• Understanding of infection control, patient safety, and HIPAA privacy rules
• Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork mindset
• Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
