Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, and positioning safely and respectfully
• Monitor and document vital signs and patient status accurately and promptly
• Support the nursing team by reporting changes and following care plans
• Help with safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and equipment
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control procedures
• Communicate kindly and clearly with patients and families to support comfort and understanding
• Contribute to a positive team culture and patient-centered care experience

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) — state certification preferred or eligible
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
• Comfortable working the evening shift, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or acute care is a plus
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and meet facility onboarding requirements
• Strong interpersonal skills and a caring, patient-first attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in basic patient care tasks and ADLs
• Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
• Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols
• Comfortable with mobility assistance and safe patient handling
• Good documentation skills and ability to follow care plans
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
