Licensed Practical Nurse / Registered Nurse
Location: Albuquerque, NM
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Night shift (specific days not specified), 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM (12.5-hour overnight shift) with a 30-minute meal break
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $31 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care as an LPN or RN on overnight shifts
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Monitor and document patient condition, reporting changes promptly to the care team
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to coordinate excellent care
- Perform thorough assessments and contribute to individualized care plans
- Support safe patient transfers, admissions, discharges, and transitions of care
Qualifications
- Active LPN or RN license (appropriate to the role) — licensure in New Mexico or applicable compact privilege is required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willing to obtain)
- Comfort working overnight shifts and providing reliable, consistent care
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Education
- Graduation from an accredited LPN or RN nursing program (diploma, ADN, or BSN depending on licensure)
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid clinical assessment and monitoring skills
- Medication administration and documentation proficiency
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate charting
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and respond calmly in acute situations
- Clear, compassionate communication with patients and families
