Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility safely and respectfully
• Take and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
• Support mealtime assistance and ensure residents are comfortable and nourished
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and observations
• Promote a safe, clean, and dignified environment for all residents
• Communicate clearly with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members to support excellent care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (Class: CNA)
• Ability to work the evening shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with residents and team members
• Comfort with physical tasks such as lifting, transferring, and assisting with mobility
• Willingness to complete facility-required background check and health screenings
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain

Education

• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on resident care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Measuring and recording vital signs accurately
• Basic infection control practices and safe patient handling
• Clear documentation and charting of care provided
• Strong observational skills to notice and report changes in condition
• Teamwork and effective communication within a healthcare setting
