Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming) with compassion and respect
- Support safe mobility and transfers to promote patient independence
- Take and record vital signs accurately and promptly
- Document patient care and observations clearly in the chart
- Follow infection control and safety procedures to protect patients and staff
- Collaborate with nurses and therapists to deliver coordinated, high-quality care
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required
- Ability to perform patient transfers and basic patient care safely
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with clinical staff
- Willingness to follow facility policies and maintain patient confidentiality
Education
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient care fundamentals and basic clinical skills
- Comfortable taking vital signs and observing patient condition
- Knowledge of infection prevention and safety protocols
- Good documentation and time-management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate bedside manner
