Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents and patients
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and toileting
• Perform safe transfers and mobility assistance to promote independence
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
• Document care accurately and timely in resident records
• Support mealtime assistance and ensure residents receive proper nutrition
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and staff
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver great care

Qualifications

• Current state Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong communication skills
• Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Active CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Experience with activities of daily living (ADLs) assistance
• Comfortable taking and documenting vital signs
• Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
• Basic charting and care documentation skills
• Strong infection control and safety awareness
• Teamwork, reliability, and clear communication with residents and staff
