Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during overnight hours
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Perform thorough assessments and monitor patient condition changes
• Document patient care, progress notes, and handoffs clearly and promptly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care plans
• Respond to patient needs and emergencies calmly and efficiently

Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license (New Mexico license or eligibility)
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required; advanced certifications a plus
• Comfortable working 12.5-hour night shifts and managing acute/chronic patient needs
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a collaborative team
• Prior acute care or inpatient nursing experience preferred

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Nursing Diploma; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical assessment and vital sign interpretation
• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Electronic medical record (EMR) charting and accurate handoffs
• Patient education and discharge planning
• Prioritization, time management, and crisis response skills
