Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients in the Uptown Health/Rehab area
• Perform thorough patient assessments and communicate findings clearly to the care team
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Document patient care and progress in an accurate, timely manner
• Support patient rehabilitation goals and educate patients and families on care plans

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN or LPN license for the state of New Mexico (RN preferred)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred or encouraged depending on unit
• Experience in rehab or acute care settings is a plus
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
• Completion of state-required continuing education and certifications

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in medication administration and patient monitoring
• Knowledge of rehab-focused nursing care and recovery goals
• Proficient with electronic health records and clinical documentation
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time during busy 12-hour shifts
• Comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary team
