Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Assist nursing staff with bathing, dressing, mobility, and safe transfers
• Monitor residents and report changes in condition to the nursing team promptly
• Document care accurately in the patient chart to ensure continuity of care
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with residents, families, and colleagues
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control procedures

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) — required
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or facility-required
• Comfortable working night shifts and supporting a diverse resident population
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen as required by the facility
• Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a teamwork mindset

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing assistant duties and resident care procedures
• Skill in safe patient handling and transfer techniques
• Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols
• Good observational skills and the ability to report changes effectively
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with residents and multidisciplinary teams
