Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients in the assigned unit
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Perform thorough patient assessments and document findings in the medical record
• Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and follow-up needs
• Monitor patient status and escalate changes promptly to ensure positive outcomes

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license appropriate for practice in New Mexico (required)
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
• Previous experience in a clinical nursing role is preferred but new grads with strong clinical training are welcome to apply
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Education

• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program (for LPN) or an accredited nursing program (ADN/BSN for RN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of patient assessment and basic nursing procedures
• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Comfortable using electronic health record systems
• Excellent prioritization, time management, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
