Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes in condition to the nursing team promptly
• Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to protect residents and yourself
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care in the resident record
• Help create a clean, comfortable, and dignified environment for residents
• Communicate effectively with nurses, families, and interdisciplinary team members to promote coordinated care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — required
• Valid authorization to work in the U.S. (as applicable) and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Previous CNA experience preferred but compassionate attitude and a willingness to learn are highly valued
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and required immunizations per facility policy

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong resident-centered care and basic nursing skills
• Comfortable taking and documenting vital signs and simple clinical observations
• Clear communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with nursing staff
• Knowledge of infection control practices and patient safety principles
• Ability to follow care plans and facility protocols accurately
