Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate basic patient care and support daily living activities
• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility
• Take and accurately record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
• Help ensure patient safety during transfers and ambulation
• Maintain tidy, comfortable patient environments and adhere to infection control
• Document care in a timely and professional manner
• Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families, and the care team
• Support nurses and other clinicians to deliver high-quality care

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (must be active and in good standing)
• Prior experience in long-term care or similar settings preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
• Strong communication skills and a patient-first mindset
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work the assigned evening shift

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an accredited CNA program and current certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in activities of daily living (ADLs) assistance
• Accurate vital signs measurement and basic patient observations
• Familiarity with infection prevention and safety practices
• Good documentation and basic charting skills
• Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork
