Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care and support residents with dignity
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
• Monitor and accurately record vital signs and report changes promptly
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff and families about resident needs
• Support admissions, transfers, and discharges to ensure smooth transitions

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (required) — must be valid for Pennsylvania
• CPR/BLS certification required or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Ability to work night shifts (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM) and reliably attend scheduled shifts
• Ability to pass background check and meet facility immunization requirements
• Previous experience as a CNA preferred but enthusiastic new CNAs are welcome

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of patient safety, infection control, and basic nursing care
• Skilled in assisting with ADLs and resident mobility
• Comfortable taking and documenting vital signs accurately
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Attention to detail and a compassionate, resident-centered approach
