Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Support patient mobility, transfers and safe positioning
- Take and accurately record vital signs and observations
- Assist the nursing team with patient care tasks and ensure continuity of care
- Document care and changes in patient condition clearly and promptly
- Maintain infection control and safety standards at all times
- Communicate effectively with residents, families and the care team to promote positive outcomes
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
- State-specific CNA credential or eligibility as required by the facility
- Comfortable working the 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM evening shift
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Ability to perform physical aspects of resident care safely
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on resident care and assistance with ADLs
- Basic vital sign measurement and documentation
- Infection control practices and safe patient handling
- Clear, professional communication with residents and team members
- Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
