Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $28 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate nursing care to patients in the Uptown Health/Rehab area
Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and follow individualized care plans
Monitor patient progress and report changes in condition promptly
Support patients and families with education, discharge planning, and resources
Maintain accurate clinical records and follow facility policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications

Valid LPN or RN license (eligible to practice in New Mexico preferred)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
Clinical experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or similar settings preferred
Strong patient assessment, communication, and documentation skills
Ability to work 12+ hour day shifts and manage patient caseload safely

Education

LPN: Practical nursing diploma or certificate
RN: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of medication administration and common nursing procedures
Skilled in patient assessment, wound care, and mobility assistance
Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate charting
Excellent teamwork, prioritization, and time management skills
Compassionate bedside manner and strong patient/family communication
