Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Monitor and document patient status, reporting changes to the care team
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and providers to deliver coordinated care
- Support patient comfort, hygiene, and daily living activities with dignity
- Participate in shift handoffs and maintain clear, accurate documentation
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse credential (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) classification indicated
- Current license in good standing (LPN or RN) required
- Comfortable working the posted shift schedule (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM)
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
Education
- Completion of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent (LPN) or accredited nursing program (RN)
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical knowledge of basic nursing assessment and patient care
- Medication administration and safe documentation practices
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Accurate charting and familiarity with electronic health records
