Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to the nursing team
• Support safe mobility and transfer techniques to protect residents and yourself
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and resident observations
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver excellent care
• Uphold infection control and facility policies to keep everyone safe

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential
• State certification or ability to obtain Pennsylvania CNA certification
• Comfortable working evening shifts and supporting a dynamic care team
• Clear background check and up-to-date immunizations per facility policy
• Strong communication skills, empathy, and a teamwork mindset

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in assisting with ADLs (bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting)
• Proficient in taking and recording vital signs accurately
• Basic charting and documentation best practices
• Infection prevention and standard precautions
• Effective communication and resident-centered care techniques
• Ability to follow care plans and report clinical changes promptly
