Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality OB/GYN and general sonographic exams using ultrasound equipment to produce diagnostic images
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to ensure images support accurate assessment, diagnosis, and monitoring
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring image quality and equipment readiness
• Document exam findings, maintain accurate patient records, and adhere to compliance and facility policies
• Provide compassionate patient care and clear communication to put patients at ease during imaging
• Participate in orientation and required onboarding tasks to ensure smooth integration into the Radiology Ultrasound unit

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of ultrasound experience in OB/GYN and general ultrasound (required)
• Demonstrated proficiency in sonography and ultrasound imaging techniques
• NIHSS certification (link provided in posting) — facility reviews applicants even if certs are not current or immediately available
• Ability to submit complete work history and permanent address as part of profile requirements
• Willingness to complete all compliance documentation one week prior to start

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of OB/GYN and general sonographic protocols and anatomy
• Skilled in ultrasound equipment operation and image optimization
• Familiarity with diagnostic imaging documentation and regulatory compliance
• Excellent interpersonal and patient-care communication skills
• Detail-oriented with good time management in a fast-paced radiology environment
