Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate individual and group mental health services to patients within a correctional setting
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop measurable treatment plans tailored to patient needs
• Deliver evidence-based interventions and crisis management when needed
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, custody staff, and community resources to support continuity of care
• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Active LCSW, PSY (Psychologist), LMFT, or LPCC license (candidates with any of these licenses are encouraged to apply)
• Comfort and experience working with adult mental health populations — correctional experience a strong plus
• Ability to work the required 4x10 schedule (Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM) and adapt to facility protocols
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and crisis intervention skills
• Clear background and ability to meet facility clearance requirements

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven knowledge of mental health assessment and treatment planning
• Skilled in individual and group therapy modalities and trauma-informed care
• Crisis intervention and de-escalation skills appropriate for a correctional environment
• Excellent clinical documentation and electronic health record familiarity
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and community providers
• Cultural competence and effective communication with diverse populations
