Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents — assistance with ADLs like bathing, dressing, feeding and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs and patient observations accurately and promptly
• Support safe transfers and positioning, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
• Document resident care and communicate changes to nursing staff to ensure continuity
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices consistently
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support individualized care plans
• Engage residents with dignity and respect, fostering comfort and emotional well-being

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required
• T-CNA classification noted/preferred (training or certification helpful)
• Ability to work scheduled shifts: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen as required
• Up-to-date immunizations and TB test per facility policy
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on resident care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Accurate vital signs measurement and documentation
• Basic infection control and safety procedures
• Reliable charting and clear communication with nursing staff
• Safe transfer and mobility support techniques
• Compassionate bedside manner and ability to build rapport quickly
