Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Days not specified, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC (Night shift)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with ADLs and daily comfort
Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to the nursing team
Support safe patient transfers and mobility with proper technique
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate clearly during handoffs
Follow infection control protocols and facility policies to keep patients safe
Collaborate with nurses and other caregivers to deliver coordinated care

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
Valid Pennsylvania CNA certification or eligibility to obtain state certification
Minimum hands-on experience in long-term care or acute care preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or obtainable on hire
Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an approved CNA training program and certification

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient care and bedside manner skills
Ability to take and interpret vital signs accurately
Familiarity with charting and basic electronic health record entries
Good communication and teamwork in fast-paced clinical settings
Knowledge of infection control and safe patient handling practices
