Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents by assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor resident condition and report changes to the nursing team promptly
• Support safe transfers, mobility, and fall-prevention measures
• Assist with feeding, hygiene, and toileting while preserving dignity
• Document care accurately and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team
• Contribute to a positive, resident-centered environment through teamwork and empathy

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in the state of Pennsylvania
• Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Prior experience as a CNA preferred but new grads with strong caregiving experience welcome
• Clear background check and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements
• Demonstrated ability to work night shift and collaborate with clinical teams

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of ADLs, infection control, and basic clinical observations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with residents and families
• Ability to follow care plans, document accurately, and escalate concerns
• Dependability, compassion, and good time-management in a fast-paced setting
• Basic mobility assistance and safe transfer techniques
