Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology imaging and assist with procedures using safe, sterile technique
• Operate fluoroscopy and related imaging equipment accurately and safely
• Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring proper positioning and monitoring throughout
• Respond promptly to on-call notifications and support emergent cases when needed
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and the imaging team to deliver high-quality patient care
• Complete documentation, checklists, and competency-based exams to maintain standards and compliance
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and a clean procedural environment to support efficient operations

Qualifications

• BLS certification (required)
• License/certificate verification as required by facility/state (must be current)
• Prefer at least 2 years of experience in interventional radiology or related imaging environments
• Ability to pass required health screenings: Fit Test, COVID-19 vaccine, drug screen, TB test, immunizations (MMR, Hep B, Varicella, Tdap, Influenza) as listed
• Comfort with on-call duties including weekday and every 3rd weekend coverage
• Successful completion of facility competency assessments: Prime Core Competencies, Prime Skills Checklist, Prime Specialty Exam
