Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-acuity, evidence-based nursing care to adult ICU patients and maintain safe patient ratios (1:2)
• Assess, monitor and respond to patient condition changes using Philips monitors and advanced clinical judgment
• Operate and manage infusion therapy with Alaris pumps and titrate therapies per orders
• Perform and assist with critical procedures such as CRRT, intubations and central/arterial line placements
• Document accurately and efficiently in Meditech to ensure continuity of care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Support unit quality and patient experience initiatives, delivering care with compassion and professionalism

Qualifications

• Active RN license (state of practice) and ability to meet travel licensure requirements
• Minimum 2 years of ICU/critical care nursing experience
• Certifications required: BLS and ACLS
• Hands-on experience with CRRT, intubation and line management
• Comfortable with Philips bedside monitors and Alaris infusion pumps
• Familiarity with Meditech or similar electronic health record systems
• Strong critical thinking, communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Critical care assessment and hemodynamic monitoring
• Mechanical ventilation basics and ventilator patient management
• Continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) setup and troubleshooting
• IV infusion management with Alaris pump programming
• Electronic charting (Meditech) and unit documentation workflows
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced ICU environment and work effectively with a multidisciplinary team
