Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care for a census of roughly 1 to 30 residents
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on schedule
• Assess residents regularly and report clinical changes to the care team
• Document care, observations and interventions clearly in the medical record
• Collaborate with nursing colleagues and facility staff to maintain a safe, respectful environment
• Support residents with activities of daily living and promote dignity and independence

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) active in the appropriate jurisdiction
• Comfortable providing medication administration and direct resident care without med tech support
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willing to obtain if required by facility)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a small-team setting
• Reliable, local candidate (this is a local-only assignment)

Education

• Completion of an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program
• High school diploma or GED

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and safe documentation practices
• Basic nursing assessments and vital sign monitoring
• Infection control and wound care fundamentals
• Charting and electronic medical record familiarity
• Time management, prioritization and teamwork in long day shifts
• Compassionate interpersonal skills for working with seniors and residents
