Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide evidence-based individual and group therapy to patients in a correctional setting
• Perform risk assessments and crisis intervention when needed to maintain safety
• Document clinical encounters clearly, accurately, and in a timely manner
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and referrals
• Participate in case reviews and contribute to quality improvement efforts

Qualifications

• Active California license in one of the following: LCSW, Psychologist (PSY), LMFT, or LPCC
• Ability to work the posted day schedules (Monday–Thursday 7:00 AM–5:00 PM or agreed 4x10 / 5x8 patterns)
• Comfort working in a correctional facility environment (Valley State Prison)
• Strong clinical documentation skills and professional communication
• Valid CA credentials in good standing and ability to pass required background checks
