Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality dialysis care to assigned patients, ensuring safety and comfort
• Set up, monitor and troubleshoot dialysis equipment and treatments
• Assess patients before, during and after treatments and document findings accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on dialysis procedures, vascular access care, and self-care
• Respond promptly and effectively to clinical changes and emergencies
• Maintain strict infection control and quality assurance practices

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (current and in good standing)
• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience (dialysis experience highly preferred)
• Demonstrated experience or comfort with dialysis procedures and equipment
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS or dialysis-specific certifications a plus
• Ability to adapt quickly to new settings as part of a travel/float pool assignment
• Strong communication skills and teamwork mindset

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with dialysis machines, vascular access care, and treatment protocols
• Solid patient assessment and clinical decision-making skills
• Accurate clinical documentation and charting in electronic medical records
• Infection control practices and safety-focused care delivery
• Comfort working in fast-paced, variable clinical environments
