Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, varied 8/10/12-hour shifts; call shifts from 9:00 PM to 6:30 AM (6-8 per month)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist surgeons during cardiac, vascular, and thoracic procedures in a 4-suite CVOR
Prepare and maintain a sterile field, ensuring all instruments and supplies are ready
Operate and troubleshoot the da Vinci Xi robotic system for minimally invasive cases
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth workflow and patient safety
Manage surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment throughout procedures
Respond to call shifts promptly, providing scrub or circulating support as needed

Qualifications

Current BLS certification (required)
Washington state surgical tech license (required)
Experience in CVOR or Main OR (required)
Robotics experience preferred but not required; willing to train
Ability to handle call shifts and varied start times

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records
Knowledge of sterile techniques and aseptic practices
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
Flexibility to float to Main OR if needed for vascular cases
