Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: 8-hour shifts, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (also 9:00-5:30, 9:30-6:00, 10:30-7:00; varied shift with weekend rotation)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide physical therapy evaluation and treatment for a diverse inpatient population including medsurg, tele, ICU, oncology, and cardiology
Manage ortho and total joint patients, as well as ventilated patients in the ICU
Collaborate with rehab techs and nursing staff to optimize patient outcomes
Adapt treatment plans to cover all areas of the hospital as needed
Document patient progress in Cerner EMR system

Qualifications

At least 2 years of experience in acute care physical therapy
Strong background in ortho, total joints, and ICU (including ventilated patients)
Experience with medsurg, oncology, and cardiology populations
Must be comfortable hitting the ground running with minimal orientation
Ability to float to outpatient if needed

Knowledge & Skills

Orthopedic and total joint rehabilitation
ICU and ventilator management
Cardiac surgery recovery
Oncology and medsurg physical therapy
Proficient in Cerner EMR
BLS certification required
