Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures using state-of-the-art Siemens PET/CT Biograph Vision and E.CAMs
Administer radiopharmaceuticals and position patients for optimal imaging
Ensure radiation safety protocols and maintain accurate patient records
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care
Adhere to facility policies including fingernail restrictions and radiation badge usage

Qualifications

Current BLS certification from AHA or equivalent
NMT (Nuclear Medicine Technology) Certification required
PET/CT experience is a must
DOT Certification preferred at start and required within 90 days for extension
Valid driver's license to verify 50-mile radius rule
Ability to train on Siemens equipment if needed

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in nuclear medicine imaging and radiopharmaceutical handling
Skilled in PET/CT operation and quality control
Knowledge of radiation safety practices and ALARA principles
Strong patient care and communication skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
