Location: Phoenix, AZ

End Date: 08-31-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating days/nights, every 3rd weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert nursing care to critically ill neonates in a Level 4 NICU
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including neonatologists and midlevels
Educate and support families through their NICU journey
Perform specialized procedures such as central line dressing changes and Foley catheter insertion
Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition with precision and compassion

Qualifications

Current BLS and NRP certifications
Cardiac STABLE certification required
Minimum 2 years of Level 4 NICU experience
Previous travel experience preferred
Ability to pass SIMs lab with sterile field competency

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Cerner EMR
Experience with Phillips telemetry
Strong understanding of sterile technique
Excellent assessment and critical thinking skills
Great communication and teamwork abilities
