Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts: Days 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or Nights 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population including CHF, pneumonia, COPD, and post-surgical patients
Monitor telemetry and titrate drips as needed (heparin, bumex)
Collaborate with a dedicated team of nurses, CNAs, and charge nurses
Float as a helping hand to other departments when needed, with opportunities for cross-training
Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to safety protocols

Qualifications

Active Oregon RN license or ability to obtain Oregon Emergency License within 90 days
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Experience in medical-surgical nursing preferred
Comfortable with general pediatric patients as needed
Ability to work every other weekend and negotiate holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in managing common med-surg diagnoses and post-op care
Experience with titratable drips (heparin, bumex)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to adapt to floating and cross-training
