Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM and 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor and manage patients in a fast-paced PCU, including cardiac, nephrology, stroke, and continuous EEG monitoring
Titrate drips such as Cardizem, beta blockers, and seizure medications
Collaborate with charge nurses and patient care techs to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Provide compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients with a positive attitude

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Driver's license required at submittal

Knowledge & Skills

Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Experience in PCU or similar acute care setting
Ability to titrate multiple cardiac and seizure drips
