Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures using PET/CT and gamma camera technology
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic studies
Ensure patient safety and comfort during exams, explaining procedures clearly
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging data
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to optimize patient care
Adhere to radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles

Qualifications

Must have at least 1 year of recent Nuclear Medicine Technology experience
Current BLS certification is required
PET experience is required
DOT certification preferred at start, required within 90 days
Valid driver's license needed for submission to verify distance from facility
Must live more than 50 miles from Omaha and not be employed with CommonSpirit/CHI/Dignity facilities

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in nuclear medicine imaging and radiopharmacy
Skilled with Siemens PET/CT Biograph Vision and Siemens E.CAM systems (training available)
Strong patient care and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of radiation safety and regulatory requirements
