Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with cardiac and telemetry needs
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, including reading and interpreting EKG strips
Titrate and manage drips such as Amio, Cardizem, Heparin, Nitro, Nipride, and Lasix
Care for patients with PCU-level acuity, including those on BiPAP, trachs, and high-flow oxygen
Collaborate with charge nurses and patient care techs to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Float to PCU, med/surg, and ER holds as needed to support the team

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum PCU experience and ability to read cardiac strips
Telemetry and cardiac monitoring proficiency
Epic experience preferred but not required
First-time travelers welcome

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in telemetry and cardiac monitoring
Proficiency in drip titration and management
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
