Sonographer – UHC Staffing

Location: Durango, CO

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Variable schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, typically 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, including call 1-2 nights per week and every 3rd weekend

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality general and OBGYN ultrasound exams
Conduct vascular ultrasound studies and assist with procedures
Handle drains, biopsies, and other interventional tasks
Operate Phillips ultrasound equipment and Fuji EPIC systems
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure optimal imaging

Qualifications

Current BLS certification required
RDMS credential (General or OBGYN) required; RVT preferred
At least 1 year of recent ultrasound experience
Ability to take call 1-2 nights per week and every 3rd weekend

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in general, OBGYN, and vascular ultrasound
Proficient in Phillips ultrasound systems and Fuji EPIC PACS
Skilled in interventional procedures like drains and biopsies
Strong attention to detail and patient care focus
