Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to adults and geriatrics across multiple medical-surgical and telemetry units
• Monitor cardiac telemetry and titrate heparin drips as ordered
• Float seamlessly between facilities within Zone 1 (Colorado Springs area) to ensure staffing coverage
• Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality care
• Adapt quickly to different unit specialties including cardiac, neuro, oncology, ortho, and more
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with patients and families

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience required
• Active and unrestricted RN license in Colorado or compact state
• Ability to float within a 60-mile radius across multiple facilities in Zone 1
• Prior neuro experience is highly preferred
• Comfortable with floating to various units and adapting to new environments

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation skills
• Proficient in heparin titration and managing cardiac drips
• Excellent critical thinking and prioritization abilities in a fast-paced float pool
• Effective communication and teamwork across diverse units
• Flexibility and resilience in dynamic clinical settings
