Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM, with rotating days including weekends and holidays as per 6-week schedule

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on medical-surgical and telemetry units
Float across multiple facilities within Zone 1, including Penrose Hospital, St. Francis Medical Center, and others
Monitor cardiac rhythms, titrate heparin drips, and administer medications
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Adapt quickly to various unit specialties including cardiac, neuro, oncology, ortho, and more
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold safety standards

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
Minimum 2 years of recent MS-Tele experience
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Experience with telemetry monitoring and heparin drip titration preferred
Willingness to float within a 60-mile radius zone

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
Heparin drip management and titration
Patient assessment and care coordination
Adaptability and flexibility in fast-paced environments
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Proficiency in electronic health records
