Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM), including every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to adults and geriatrics with cardiac, neurological, and medical conditions
Monitor and titrate intravenous medications including Cardizem, beta-blockers, and seizure medications
Perform continuous EEG monitoring and manage patient assessments
Collaborate with charge nurse and interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab as needed to support the unit

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
At least 1 year of PCU or telemetry experience preferred
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Ability to pass an open-book skills exam with 90% during orientation
Driver's license required for verification of 50-mile radius rule

Knowledge & Skills

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and drip titration
Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
