Location: Garden City, Kansas

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, with 24/7 on-call requirements including weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $102 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of Cath Lab and ICU departments
Lead and mentor nursing staff to enhance clinical competency
Provide direct patient care and support during pre/post procedures
Manage moderate sedation and titrate critical drips
Foster a collaborative culture focused on quality and patient safety
Coordinate with unit manager and CNO to meet department goals

Qualifications

Valid RN license in Kansas (or compact license)
Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
At least 1 year of management or clinical leadership experience
Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, RCIS, NIHSS, TNCC
CRRT competency and fluoro license preferred
Ability to work on-call, weekends, and holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in critical care and telemetry nursing
Strong knowledge of Cath Lab procedures and moderate sedation
Leadership and team-building skills
Proficiency in titrating vasoactive drugs and drips
Ability to read telemetry strips and monitor patients
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
