Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Four 10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, rotating weekends and holidays per unit schedule

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide occupational therapy services to patients in an acute care rehab setting
Assess patients' functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
Implement therapeutic interventions to improve daily living skills
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including PTs, SLPs, and nursing staff
Document patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed
Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and home safety

Qualifications

At least 2 years of experience in Occupational Therapy specialty
Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital experience required
Open to first-time travelers
California Occupational Therapy license required
BLS certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in Cerner EMR
Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and patient education skills
Knowledge of acute care rehab protocols and safety
