Location: Pueblo, CO

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Block scheduling with flexibility, typically Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive evaluations for acute inpatient patients including medical/surgical, intermediate care, and ICU
Facilitate early mobilization to improve patient outcomes
Determine patients' mobility status and assess safety for discharge to home or transfer to rehab units
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including COTAs and nursing staff
Document patient progress and adjust interventions as needed

Qualifications

Current Colorado Occupational Therapy license required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Experience in acute inpatient care preferred
Ability to work independently and manage a caseload of 8-10 patients per day
Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in early mobilization and mobility assessment
Skilled in patient evaluation and discharge planning
Knowledge of acute medical/surgical and ICU patient populations
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in electronic medical records
