Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, including weekends and holidays, 36 hours per week

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) draws to assess patient respiratory status
Set up and manage BiPAP and ventilator support for patients
Administer nebulizer treatments and other respiratory therapies
Provide conscious sedation and cardioversion standby in critical situations
Assist with intubations as needed
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

Current Washington State Respiratory Therapist license
RRT or CRT credential required
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from AHA
Strong experience with ventilators (PB 980, Philips V60, Respironics Lumis)
Must have NICU experience with Level 2 nursery and Bubble CPAP competency
Comfortable working with adults and some pediatric patients in the ED

Knowledge & Skills

Ventilator management and setup
NICU respiratory care including Bubble CPAP
ABG interpretation and draw technique
BiPAP and high-flow therapy
Conscious sedation protocols
Cardioversion and intubation assistance
Strong critical thinking and communication skills
