Location: Breckenridge, MN

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 8-hour shifts: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM, 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM; every other weekend and holiday rotation

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care in a long-term care facility
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for side effects
Collaborate with RNs and CNAs to ensure comprehensive care plans
Document patient assessments, vitals, and interventions accurately in PointClickCare
Supervise CNA staff and support a positive team environment
Respond to resident needs and emergencies with professionalism and empathy

Qualifications

Valid LPN license in Minnesota or compact state
BLS certification required (must be current)
Minimum 1 year of LTC or skilled nursing experience preferred
Ability to work every other weekend and holidays
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in medication administration and IV therapy (minimal)
Experienced with EHR systems, especially PointClickCare
Knowledge of common geriatric conditions (CHF, COPD, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Diabetes)
Excellent prioritization and time management in a fast-paced environment
Compassionate approach with residents and families
