Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), rotating days and nights, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population including oncology and trauma patients on a mixed PCU/Med-Surg unit
Administer chemotherapy and manage patients from diagnosis through remission or end-of-life care
Monitor telemetry and titrate drips such as heparin, cardizem, and insulin as needed
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including PT/OT, case managers, social workers, and dieticians
Float to Med-Surg and PCU units to support team needs as required

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in PCU and oncology nursing
BLS and ACLS certifications required
ONS/ONCC chemotherapy certification required
First-time travelers welcome to apply

Knowledge & Skills

Experience with ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring (CVP, Aline, Swan, EV-1000)
Proficiency in EPIC electronic medical records
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Strong communication and patient advocacy skills
