Location: Garrison, ND

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, rotating schedule, every other weekend, every other major holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Serve as charge nurse, overseeing daily operations and patient care
Administer medications accurately and safely to long-term care residents
Perform wound care treatments and monitor healing progress
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in Matrix EMR
Provide compassionate support to residents and their families

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota (or compact license accepted)
At least 1 year of long-term care experience preferred
Current BLS certification from American Heart Association
Ability to work 12-hour shifts and every other weekend/holiday

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Proficiency in medication administration and wound care
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Familiarity with Matrix EMR or similar long-term care documentation systems
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
