Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with rotating call (1 weekday and 1 weekend per month)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $52 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist in complex open heart and endovascular surgeries
Prepare and maintain a sterile field in the CVOR
Handle surgical instruments and anticipate surgeon needs
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety
Monitor inventory and ensure equipment readiness

Qualifications

Current Colorado DORA certification (CO Dora)
BLS certification required
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
Proven experience in open heart and endovascular procedures
Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes

Knowledge & Skills

Deep knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
Expertise in open heart and endovascular surgery procedures
Thrives in a fast-paced OR environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
